Who would expect to find a first-class hotel near the sleepy village of Marienfeld in the middle of East Westphalia? Probably nobody. Yet since its establishment the Hotel-Residence Klosterpforte has managed to position itself among the top names in Germany.

It is the seclusion at the edge of the Teutoburg Forest that makes our little paradise so unique. The Hotel-Residence Klosterpforte covers a lavish 180.000 square metres and is meanwhile run by the family in its third generation. Eleven buildings are surrounded by spaciously laid out parks and gardens with ancient trees inviting you to linger and stroll around in.
